The Queensland Government has published a list of COVID-19 “hotspots” in NSW for which special restrictions now apply to travellers.<\/p>\n

From 12.01am on Saturday (April 11), the Local Government areas of Blacktown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Central Coast, Cumberland, Inner West, Ku-ring-gai, Northern Beaches, Randwick, Ryde, Sutherland Shire, Sydney, Waverley and Woollahra are officially considered \u201chotspots\u201d.<\/p>\n

The release of the list of “hotspots” follows changes to the entry permit system which also came into force\u00a0at 12.01am on Saturday.<\/p>\n

All Queenslanders returning home from interstate now require a new Queensland Entry Pass.<\/p>\n

All existing green Entry Passes and Queensland Resident Vehicle Passes are now void.<\/p>\n

The new passes are now individually issued and an application is required for each person entering the State, including children.<\/p>\n

Online applications can be made at www.qld.gov.au\/border-pass<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

An exempt resident who arrives in Queensland must self-quarantine for 14 days if they have been in a designated “hotspot” area unless their travel was for an essential purpose.<\/p>\n
