The official result in South Burnett Regional Council’s neck-and-neck election race in Division 6 is still not known.<\/p>\n

The Electoral Commission of Queensland has not declared a result, despite the end of counting on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Sitting councillor Ros Heit told southburnett.com.au<\/strong>\u00a0the final count showed her in the lead over challenger Scott “Hook” Henschen by six votes ie. 1522 to 1516.<\/p>\n

However, she said it was too early to claim victory as a recount had been requested.<\/p>\n

She did not know when the result for Division 6 would be finalised.<\/p>\n

The ECQ website was reporting the Division 6 count like this on Thursday afternoon (unchanged since 5:29pm, Tuesday):<\/strong><\/p>\n
