The driver of an empty semi-trailer suffered serious burns in a truck fire on the Burnett Highway at Boonara on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident, near Booinbah Road, about 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

The driver suffered serious burns to his feet and smoke inhalation.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said he was transported to Murgon Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

The fire blocked traffic on the highway for some time.\u00a0\u00a0At 6:45pm, a police spokesperson said one lane was partially open.<\/p>\n
