The South Burnett’s two lakeside tourist parks have been closed due to COVID-19 precautions.<\/p>\n

South Burnett Regional Council and dam managers alerted tourists via social media on Wednesday afternoon that Lake Boondooma Caravan and Recreation Park and Yallakool Caravan and Recreation Park have been closed, effective immediately.<\/p>\n

“This includes all accommodation\/camping and recreational uses of these facilities,” the Council post stated.<\/p>\n

“All bookings will be cancelled with credits or refund options available.<\/p>\n

“Guests will be contacted individually with regard to their bookings.<\/p>\n

“We would like to thank guests and recreational users in advance for your co-operation and understanding and would like to assure everyone it will be back to business as usual as soon as we can.<\/p>\n

“Council hope you and your loved ones stay safe through this current health crisis and see you again (sic) in the near future.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
