The latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund will tip $457,800 in State Government grants into the region’s communities.<\/p>\n

The grants were announced by Attorney-General Yvette D’Ath on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

More than 650 community groups across Queensland will benefit from the $14.7 million Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) Round 103.<\/p>\n

In the South Burnett, recipients include the Blackbutt Tennis Club, which plans to carry out further upgrades to its courts in Hart Street, Blackbutt; and Moffatdale State School P&C, which plans to erect an electronic sign and upgrade their buildings.<\/p>\n

GCBF grants are worth between $500 and $35,000 and applications are open to not-for-profit organisations.<\/p>\n

Over the past 25 years, GCBF has distributed more than $902 million to community groups in Queensland.<\/p>\n

Applications for the next round will close on April 30.<\/p>\n
