Toowoomba Regional Council is temporarily stopping plant giveaways until further notice.<\/p>\n

CEO Brian Pidgeon said the decision was based on advice provided by the government and community expectations about social distancing.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring this unprecedented coronavirus COVID-19 health event, we must abide by the advice given to us by the State and Federal Governments,\u201d Mr Pidgeon said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decision will mean that all plant giveaways scheduled for March and April 2020 at Ramsay Street Nursery Toowoomba, Oakey and Millmerran are postponed until further notice.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you are yet to use any of your free plant vouchers, keep hold of them.\u00a0 All vouchers can be redeemed for your free plants as soon as Council\u2019s plant giveaway programs recommence.<\/p>\n
