{"id":25470,"date":"2013-03-04T13:05:33","date_gmt":"2013-03-04T03:05:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=25470"},"modified":"2020-09-25T10:12:43","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T00:12:43","slug":"chopper-spots-downed-power-line","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2013\/03\/04\/chopper-spots-downed-power-line\/","title":{"rendered":"Chopper Spots Downed Power Line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>March 4, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ergon Energy repair crews hope to restore power to nine remaining customers located in the Redgate area near the Burnett Highway as soon as flood waters recede.<\/p>\n<p>About 800 Ergon Energy customers in Redgate, Moffatdale, Cherbourg and rural areas further to the south and east had their power supply interrupted just after midnight on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>By 8:30am, crews patrolling the line route progressively had reduced this to nine customers, which included some farm sheds, however they couldn&#8217;t proceed any further due to a flooded creek.<\/p>\n<p>A helicopter patrol yesterday located a downed high-voltage power line in the creek but crews were unable to access the area to repair the damage.<\/p>\n<p>Ergon has attempted to contact the affected customers to offer them generator sets but understands a number have moved out because of the flooding.<\/p>\n<p>Crews are continuing to monitor flood levels and will repair the damage as soon as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ergon Energy repair crews hope to restore power to nine remaining customers located in the Redgate near the Burnett Highway as soon as flood waters recede.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3],"tags":[1135,32,123,364],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
