A free workshop to help local landholders identify weeds and manage weed risks will be held at Wondai Town Hall on March 25.<\/p>\n

Topics to be covered include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • How to identify weeds and where to find identification resources,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • How to manage weed seed risks in fodder,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • How to incorporate weed hygiene practices into your on-farm practices, and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • How to undertake vehicle\/machinery clean downs, including a range of cheap and effective options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          The workshop will be held from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and morning tea and lunch will be supplied.<\/p>\n

          It will be presented by Belinda Callanan, from Toowoomba-based land management consultants, TH9 Outdoor Services.<\/p>\n

          People wishing to attend have been asked to RSVP to Josh Dyke on 0488-953-844\u00a0 before 4:00pm on March 23.<\/p>\n
