Taabinga State School’s major fundraiser for the year packed out the school hall on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

The Trivia and Bingo Extravaganza night was organised by the school’s P&C committee.<\/p>\n

Apart from bingo games offering the chance to win a $1000 jackpot and trivia competitions offering similar prizes, there were also raffles for those feeling lucky.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, P&C volunteers arranged food and ran a licensed bar to support hungry and thirsty patrons throughout the evening.<\/p>\n

Parents were catered for as well, with secure on-site child minding facilities available for a small fee.<\/p>\n

P&C president\u00a0president Shae Cull said about 240 tickets were sold.<\/p>\n

She said the committee would be happy if the night raised “anything above $5000” but that target looked like it would be achieved.<\/p>\n

Profits will be put towards improving facilities at the school.<\/p>\n
