Fire badly damaged a single-storey brick and timber house in Kingaroy in the early hours of Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The fire brigade was called about 4:55am to the blaze, on the corner of Prince and Thelma streets.<\/p>\n

Paramedics were also on standby but no patients required treatment or transport to hospital.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said the house was well alight when crews arrived.<\/p>\n

Three fire units attended the incident.<\/p>\n

Firefighters had contained the blaze by 5:25am and stopped the flames from reaching neighbouring properties.<\/p>\n

It was totally extinguished by 5:45am although firefighters remained on scene until about 10:00am.<\/p>\n

Police investigators were examining the property on Sunday to determine the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n

Two people suffered burns after a fuel can caught on fire at a private residence at Booie on Sunday evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ambulance paramedics were called to the incident at 6:22pm.<\/p>\n

They treated a woman at the scene for burns to her arms and face. She was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n

A man was assessed for superficial burns to his hand. He elected to make his own way to hospital.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Two people were injured in a collision on the D’Aguilar Highway at Wamuran on Saturday night which blocked traffic on the highway for several hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two-vehicle crash was reported at 8:46pm.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said one person was initially trapped inside their vehicle. They were transported in a stable condition, under the care of Critical Care paramedics, to Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital with shoulder and lower limb injuries.<\/p>\n
