Ergon Energy has taken on 102 new apprentices this year who will be placed at depots across regional Queensland.<\/p>\n

The intake included nine\u00a0apprentices who undertook their initial training in Maryborough recently before heading to their home depots.<\/p>\n

Among them was\u00a0Liam Brauer who will be working at the Kilkivan depot.<\/p>\n

An Ergon spokesperson said Liam would soon be with the Ergon crews who help to keep the lights on, often working in challenging conditions to restore power after storms and other severe weather events.<\/p>\n

Training Minister Shannon Fentiman also congratulated and welcomed this year\u2019s first intake of new apprentices.<\/p>\n
