class=\"wp-caption-text\">Community groups wanting to host Australia Day commemorations next year should apply for South Burnett Regional Council funding in the latest Community Grants round<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>February 4, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The second &#8211; and final &#8211; round of the South Burnett Regional Council&#8217;s 2019-20 Community Grants Program opened this week.<\/p>\n<p>The program supports not-for-profit community organisations based in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The current round is open for applications until close of business on Friday, February 28, in the following categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Community Events Sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>School Student Awards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Community Hall Insurance Grant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Regional Arts Development Fund<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthy Communities Sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Project\/Program One-off Sponsorship, and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Australia Day Events Sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In-Kind Sponsorship, Elite Performance Youth Grants, Councillor Discretionary Fund and Indigenous Affairs Fund applications can be submitted year-round.<\/p>\n<p>Further information regarding grant funding is available through <a><b>Council&#8217;s website<\/b><\/a>, along with application forms.<\/p>\n<p>Application forms and copies of the Community Grants Program Policy can also be obtained from Customer Service Centres.<\/p>\n<p>Any organisations wishing to apply are also encouraged to contact Council\u2019s Community Grants Officer by phoning (07) 4189-9100 or <a href=\"mailto:info@southburnett.qld.gov.au?subject=Community Grants\"><b>by email<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Gympie Regional Council will soon be inviting applications for the second round of its 2019-20 Regional Arts Development Fund grants (RADF)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The RADF grants program is open to eligible community organisations, businesses and individuals to support arts and cultural projects in the Gympie region.<\/p>\n<p>RADF grant applications will open on March 2 and close on March 30.<\/p>\n<p>The three grant categories for the latest round are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Creative\/Concept Development<\/strong> to assist in the development of new ideas and projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Creative Community Projects<\/strong> for arts projects that have a broader reach within the community, and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Individual Skills Development<\/strong> that helps arts practitioners to undertake professional development opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A special category for Small Halls is also available in the latest round to support cultural events or performances in community halls throughout the Gympie region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An RADF information session will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, February 24 at the Gympie Regional Gallery at 39 Nash Street, Gympie for anyone interested in applying to the program.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The session will explain grant eligibility, as well as provide tips on how to navigate the application process.<\/p>\n<p>To RSVP for the session, call (07) 5481-0774 or <a detail.<\/p>\n<p>RADF is a partnership between Gympie Regional Council and the Queensland Government to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.<\/p>\n<p>More information is available on
