Kingaroy SES hopes to sign up a string of new members following an Open Day at the unit’s headquarters on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Acting Group Leader Kathy Stewart said the Kingaroy unit currently had about a dozen members but she hoped to double that.<\/p>\n

The Open Day featured a height safety display, first aid and CPR awareness activities.<\/p>\n

Helping out were members from the Nanango SES unit.<\/p>\n

Nanango Group Leader Robyn Baker said the Nanango unit had about 33 members.<\/p>\n

“We did a membership drive in October 2018 which increased our numbers and most of them have stayed,” Robyn said.<\/p>\n

Anyone interested in joining the Kingaroy SES should drop into a training night, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Mondays, at the headquarters in Glendon Street.<\/p>\n
