The Kingaroy Ambulance Station in the 1930s<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

January 28, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

A special celebration will be held at the Kingaroy Ambulance Station next month to mark the centenary of ambulance services in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The station, at 29 Edward Street, will be open to the public on Saturday, February 29 from 9:00am to 1:00pm.<\/p>\n

There will be displays of memorabilia and equipment plus historic vehicles.<\/p>\n

Murgon Local Ambulance Committee members will also be doing a CPR awareness display.<\/p>\n

“Axel The Ambulance” will there for the children, as well as face-painting.<\/p>\n

The official opening – with morning tea and the cutting of the centenary cake – will be at 10:00am.<\/p>\n

The centenary celebrations are being organised by the Kingaroy Local Ambulance Committee in conjunction with the Queensland Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n
