Kingaroy Police are investigating the theft of four wheels from a vehicle in First Avenue last week.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, said the thieves\u00a0gained entry through a perimeter fence on January 14.<\/p>\n

They then jacked up the vehicle and removed the wheels.<\/p>\n

Drugs<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Two men will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on drugs charges after police searched a house in Buckingham Street on January 15.<\/p>\n

Police will allege they located a 25-year-old Kingaroy man in possession of drug utensils and a 19-year-old Proston man with drug utensils and cannabis.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old will appear on February 3 and the\u00a019-year-old will appear on February 6.<\/p>\n

  • Two people were injured in a low-impact crash between two vehicles in the Bunnings car park in Kingaroy on Tuesday morning.\u00a0Emergency services were called at 10:05am. A QAS spokesperson said a woman aged in her 60s was treated at the scene.\u00a0It is believed she suffered a medical episode.\u00a0Another person was treated for rib pain.\u00a0One of the injured was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition while the other declined transport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A 73-year-old Blackbutt man has been issued with a ticket for failing to keep left ($106 fine and two points) after a collision between a 4WD and a semi-trailer carrying heavy machinery in Kingaroy on January 13.\u00a0Police allege the Blackbutt man failed to keep left when he turned from Harris Road into\u00a0Clark and Swendson Road, colliding with the Western Star truck.\u00a0Emergency services were called at 7:55am.\u00a0No one was injured in the crash.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • A 39-year-old Coverty man\u00a0will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on February 24 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped his\u00a0Holden hatchback on River Road, Kingaroy, at 10:20am on January 15.\u00a0The man’s vehicle was also immobilised for 90 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • A 29-year-old Kingaroy man\u00a0will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on February 24 charged with drug driving after police stopped a Ford on River Road, Kingaroy, at 5:25pm on January 16.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Kingaroy Police responded to a variety of incidents between January 13-19 including drug, property and traffic-related offences. They also attended 11 calls related to domestic violence incidents and issued 23 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences, including one vehicle detected travelling 117km\/h in a 60km\/h zone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
