Toy Run participants delivered this year’s Christmas collection of soft toys to the Salvation Army at Kingaroy Showgrounds on Saturday<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The annual “Basket Of Hope” Christmas toy run by local bikers delivered a mini-mountain of gifts to the Salvation Army in Kingaroy on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

The soft toys were donated by members of the public and left at collection points throughout the region.<\/p>\n

Businesses in Yarraman, Cooyar, Nanango, Kingaroy, Wooroolin, Wondai, Proston, Murgon, Goomeri and Kilkivan volunteered to receive donations.<\/p>\n

The toys were then collected by riders from local and nearby motorbike clubs.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Scouts organised a sausage sizzle outside Mitre 10 in Kingaroy to welcome visiting riders, some of whom travelled from Brisbane, Toowoomba, Miles and Dalby to take part in the run.<\/p>\n

The toys were handed over to the Salvos at the Kingaroy Showgrounds.<\/p>\n

This is the third year that the “Basket Of Hope” run has been held in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n
