November 29, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The local fire ban in place in the Toowoomba Regional Council area has been extended.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It will now remain in place until 23:59pm on Friday, December 6.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A QFES spokesperson said heightened fire conditions were perfect for bushfires to ignite and spread quickly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Local fire bans in the South Burnett, Cherbourg, Gympie and North Burnett local government areas are in place until 23:59pm on Sunday, December 8.<\/p>\n

Under a local fire ban all open fires are prohibited and all Permits to Light Fire which have been issued in the designated areas have been cancelled.<\/p>\n
