All for a good cause … by wearing these funny hats, the Proston QCWA ladies won a $100 bet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Hivesville Markets held their post-flood markets last Sunday with 20 stalls and a great crowd.<\/p>\n

During the day Certificates of Appreciation for continuous devotion since the inception of the markets were presented to Irene McDonald, Ken and Nalda Seng, Lyn Ramscar,\u00a0Noel Chesterton and Marta Lefeburn.<\/p>\n

Two additional certificates were presented to the Proston Line Dancers and the\u00a0Hivesville Hotel for their continuous support of the markets.<\/p>\n

The Proston CWA Ladies won a $100 bet if they wore their funny hats for the\u00a0day. These hats were supplied by Peter the Hat Man.<\/p>\n

The next Hivesville Country Markets will be held on Sunday, March 24, at the Hivesville Oval.<\/p>\n

The Easter Bunny will be there and will be giving out Easter eggs to all children (and adults who are young at heart).<\/p>\n
