November 4, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Fire Weather Warning for the Wide Bay & Burnett, Darling Downs & Granite Belt and Central Highlands & Coalfields forecast districts for Tuesday (November 5).<\/p>\n

Severe fire dangers have been forecast for these regions.<\/p>\n

A surface trough is moving slowly eastwards across southern Queensland.<\/p>\n

Dry and fresh west to south-westerly winds behind the trough will bring elevated fire dangers to south-eastern inland areas.<\/p>\n

Conditions should ease after sunset as temperatures drop and winds moderate.<\/p>\n

The Rural Fire Service has advised residents to action their Bushfire Survival Plan and monitor the Rural Fire Service website<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Fire bans are in place in the South Burnett, Cherbourg, North Burnett and Gympie council areas until 11:55pm on November 8.<\/p>\n
