The South Burnett Chorale … \u00a0two Easter concerts planned\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

February 21, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following on from the popularity of the South Burnett Chorale’s Christmas Charity Concerts, the group has decided to present performances of an Easter Cantata at Kumbia and Nanango on Palm Sunday.<\/p>\n

The cantata, by John Peterson, is entitled “The Glory of Easter”.<\/p>\n

It will be presented at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 24, at the Kumbia Lutheran Church and at 5:30pm on the same day at the Nanango Catholic Church.<\/p>\n

All proceeds and donations will be given to the South Burnett Mayor’s Red Earth Flood appeal.<\/p>\n

“If you would like to sing and would like to be a part of these performances, it may not be too late to join this happy band of 30 hard-working warblers,” a Chorale spokeswoman Margaret Shepardson said.<\/p>\n

The Chorale has released the following proposed performance dates for 2013:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • March 24 – two flood relief performances<\/li>\n
  • June 16 – Winter performance (chorale fundraiser)<\/li>\n
  • September 15 – Spring performance (chorale fundraiser)<\/li>\n
