There was a happy mix of bowlers and non-bowlers testing their skills at last year’s Autism Bowls Challenge at the Kingaroy Bowls Club<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

September 18, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

A special lawns bowls day has been scheduled this Sunday (September 22) in Kingaroy to raise funds for the South Burnett Autism Support Group.<\/p>\n

Both bowlers and non-bowlers are welcome for the fun day planned at the Kingaroy Bowls Club in Youngman Street.<\/p>\n

The day will begin at noon with lunch prepared by Bushie’s Burgers.<\/p>\n

Play will get under way at 1:00pm.<\/p>\n

At 4:00pm, there’ll be the drawing of raffles and social drinks.<\/p>\n

All team or player nominations must be registered by 11:00am. Single nominations will be put into a team.<\/p>\n

Teams are $20 per head, which includes bowling, lunch and nibblies.<\/p>\n

If you’d like lunch but don’t want to play bowls, hamburgers are $10 each (or $5 for children under 12).<\/p>\n

NB. Only flat-soled shoes, socks or bare feet can be worn on the greens.<\/em><\/p>\n
