The Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Spring Race Meeting on Saturday – always one of its most colourful meetings of the year.<\/p>\n

This month’s races will have a “Spring Florals” theme and racegoers are encouraged to dress up in their most stylish Spring outfits to be in the running for Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of The Field prizes.<\/p>\n

The race club’s popular Champagne@the Bit bar will be serving up platters all day if you fancy a bite; a licensed bar and barbecue will be operating under the extended covered area; and the race club’s canteen will be open for sit-down dining, too.<\/p>\n

There’ll be plenty of bookmakers and an on-course tote available in the betting ring to take your wagers.<\/p>\n

A lot of people like to use this meeting for Spring get-togethers and parties, and guests are welcome to picnic on the lawns or even bring their own marquee.<\/p>\n

This is a five-race meeting and buses will be running to the races from Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at 12:00 noon, and the rear of the Fitzroy Hotel in Nanango at 12:30pm, returning after the last race.<\/p>\n

Gates open at 10:00am and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:20pm.<\/p>\n

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 16s are free).<\/p>\n
