Book lovers will be heading down to Kingaroy Town Hall this weekend for Taabinga Rotary’s major fundraiser of the year … Bookarama.<\/p>\n

The annual event provides the opportunity to browse thousands of books, all available at bargain basement prices.<\/p>\n

Funds raised are distributed by Taabinga Rotary to good causes.<\/p>\n

“One of our beneficiaries this year is CTC’s Emergency Relief Program,” Taabinga Rotary member Kimberley Francis said.<\/p>\n

“When CTC heard that they were one of our beneficiaries they wanted to give back.<\/p>\n

“On Monday, I drove around to all the CTC sites to collect donations of books.”<\/p>\n

The CTC donations will be added to the many boxes of books which will be adorning tables in the town hall.<\/p>\n

Bookarama will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday (September 7) and from 9:00am to noon on Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
