The Bureau of Meteorology issued a Fire Weather Warning on Thursday afternoon for the Wide Bay Burnett,\u00a0Central Highlands and Coalfields, Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast forecast districts<\/p>\n

Severe to Extreme fire danger ratings are forecast to affect southern, south-east and central Queensland on Friday.<\/p>\n

Locally Catastrophic fire danger ratings are also possible across isolated parts of the southern interior of the State.<\/p>\n

Fresh to strong and gusty northwesterly winds are expected to bring hot, dry conditions across the warning area on Friday.<\/p>\n

A fresh and gusty southwesterly wind change is expected to move across the southern interior of the State during Friday afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n

An Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the\u00a0Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt. <\/p>\n
