Michell Forster cried when her son\u2019s most recent report card was filled with As and Bs.<\/p>\n

Her child had come close to becoming totally disengaged from school before she did a “Triple P” Positive Parenting Program.<\/p>\n

Today they have a loving, respectful relationship and Ms Forster presents the program far and wide; not only as a teacher but also as someone who has lived the Triple P story.<\/p>\n

Ms Forster again presented the program to 15 Cherbourg parents, carers and state school mentors on February 12-13 and received an enthusiastic response.<\/p>\n

Barambah Parental and Community Engagement (PaCE) coordinator Marcus Priaulx said he hoped to bring Ms Forster to the town on a monthly basis.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t sit in on the seminars but I learn a lot speaking with Michell afterwards,\u201d Mr Priaulx said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI put into practice what she says and believe it helps me to have a great relationship with my children. I hope it helps others, too.<\/p>\n

\u201cA happy family is to me, and many people, the basis for a strong and happy life.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s also a way to help ensure children respect their parents and go to school every day on time, when they\u2019re asked.”<\/p>\n
