Investigations are continuing into the cause of two separate house fires in the Nanango region at the weekend.<\/p>\n

About 6:30pm on Friday, four fire crews were called to a fire in a house in Old Esk Road in South Nanango.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, they found a front room of the building well-engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said the fire was contained by about 6:45pm and totally extinguished by 7:55pm.<\/p>\n

Fire investigators and police are examining the cause of the blaze.<\/p>\n

About 10:30pm on Monday, three fire crews were called to a house fire in Brisbane Street, Nanango.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The building was well alight when crews arrived.<\/p>\n

They brought the fire under the control and it was all out by 12:30am.<\/p>\n

The lowset timber building was badly damaged.<\/p>\n

QFES investigators were planning to return to the site on Tuesday morning to determine what caused the fire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
