Darling Downs and West Moreton Public Health Network has unveiled its new website which provides details of PHN-funded services in the South Burnett and Cherbourg local government areas.<\/p>\n

The Federal Government set up public health networks across Australia in 2015 to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services for patients, and improve the co-ordination of care.<\/p>\n

The not-for-profit organisation partners with community organisations, health care providers, the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service, and the State and Federal government to improve primary health care services in the community.<\/p>\n

Support is also provided to primary health care providers including GPs and allied health professionals.<\/p>\n

The new website,\u00a0www.ddwmphn.com.au<\/a><\/strong>, provides maps and information about services in the PHN region, including mental health, aged care, drug and alcohol, Aboriginal health and child health.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
