A 20-year-old Yarraman man has been fined $1245 and lost his licence for six months after he was pulled over for speeding on the D’Aguilar Highway on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, said police were on patrol at 7:50am when they spotted the red Holden Commodore.<\/p>\n

Radar captured the vehicle travelling at 163km\/h in a 100lm\/h zone.<\/p>\n

The driver was issued with an infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by 40km\/h ($1245 fine) and lost eight demerit points.<\/p>\n

As the incident was a Type 2 offence, his driver’s licence was also disqualified for six months.<\/p>\n

A 31-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 16 charged with drug driving after police pulled over her Kia hatchback in Avoca Street, Kingaroy, about 5:00pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n

  • A 20-year-old Inverlaw man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 19 charged with possession of drug utensils after police visited a residence in Woodalls Road, Inverlaw, on July 29 in relation to another matter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A 27-year-old Wooroolin woman\u00a0will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 19 charged with possession of drug utensils after police pulled over a Holden sedan in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 1:45am on July 29.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Two people will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 2 after police stopped a Holden sedan in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy, at 12:30am on August 4.\u00a0A 27-year-old Kallangur woman will face a charge of possessing drug utensils and a 23-year-old Runnymede man has been charged with possessing a knife in a public place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Thieves forced a front door open to break into a unit in Edward Street, Kingaroy, on Sunday while the occupant was asleep.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        The incident occurred at some time between 2:00am and noon.<\/p>\n

        Personal property and an iPhone was stolen.<\/p>\n

        Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

        Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between July 29 and August 4 including drug, traffic, and property-related offences.
