A man has been charged with going armed to cause fear after an alleged dispute between neighbours in Kingaroy on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Police were called to a disturbance in Frangipani Street at 10:40am.<\/p>\n

They will allege that after an argument with neighbours, a 40-year-old Kingaroy man attended the address with a machete and threatened the residents.<\/p>\n

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 2.<\/p>\n

A man has been charged with obstructing police after an incident in Kingaroy in the early hours of last Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 12:20am, police intercepted a Subaru in Doonkuna Street\u00a0and the occupants were detained in relation to another matter.<\/p>\n

However, one of them – a 30-year-old Murgon man – then allegedly ran from police.<\/p>\n

He was later located at a Carinya Street address.<\/p>\n

He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 2.<\/p>\n

  • A 41-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 18 charged with failing to properly dispose of a used syringe, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a restricted drug after police stopped him twice in Kingaroy on July 26. In Glendon Street, police allegedly located\u00a0two uncapped syringes in his possession; in Albert Street they allegedly found him with amphetamine and a restricted drug.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • A 40-year-old Nanango man\u00a0will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 2 charged with failing to dispose of a syringe after police stopped his Ford ute in Avoca Street, Kingaroy, at 1:25am on July 26.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • At 1:20am on Saturday, police pulled over\u00a0a Holden hatchback in Haly Street, Kingaroy. A search of the vehicle allegedly located a syringe, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.\u00a0A 27-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 18 charged failing to dispose of a syringe.\u00a0A 52-year-old Memerambi man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 2 charged with unlawful possession of an explosive (ammunition), failing to dispose of a syringe and possession of property suspected of being used in a drug offence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • At 4.20am on Sunday, police had reason to speak two men in Thelma Street, Kingaroy.\u00a0A search of a 57-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly found him in possession of drug utensils and a small amount of cannabis. He has been charged with failing to dispose of a syringe, possessing a drug utensil and possessing a dangerous drug.\u00a0An 18-year-old Kingaroy man was allegedly found in possession of an ecstasy tablet which he claimed to have found. He has been charged with possessing a dangerous drug.\u00a0Both men will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 18.

          • A 25-year-old Kingaroy woman has been charged with theft after foodstuffs were allegedly stolen from a shop in Avoca Street, Kingaroy, at 11:00am last Tuesday. She will appear in\u00a0Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Police are investigating the wilful damage of a Toyota hatchback that was parked at a fast food restaurant in Alford Street, Kingaroy.\u00a0A\u00a0 windscreen wiper was snapped and a door damaged at some time between 3:00pm and 9:30pm on July 24.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Police are investigating the damage which occurred at the weekend to a prime mover and trailers while parked in Roberta Street. Vandals damaged nine tyres on the passenger side of the truck and trailer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • A 32-year-old\u00a0Nanango\u00a0woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 12 charged with driving while disqualified after police stopped her Hyundai sedan\u00a0in HalyStreet, Kingaroy at 12:05am on July 26.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    • A 46-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 18 charged with drink driving after police pulled over her\u00a0Holden sedan on the Bunya Highway at 1:00am on July 28. She allegedly blew 0.072 BAC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between July 22-28 including drug, good order, traffic, and property-related offences.
