The RSPCA hosted a pyjama party with a difference this evening in Kingaroy … many of the guests wore their best fur coats.<\/p>\n

While the humans, young and old, were decked out in their PJs for “Pyjamas In The Park”, the real stars were the kittens and puppies, pusses and pooches looking for new homes.<\/p>\n

The aim of the evening, held at the Kingaroy Cricket Club, was to raise awareness about the RSPCA (and some funds), hopefully find homes for animals awaiting adoption, and provide an opportunity for RSPCA staff, volunteers and supporters to have a bit of fun.<\/p>\n

There were market stalls and a sausage sizzle, and a jumping castle for the kids.<\/p>\n

Also on the agenda were “dog games”, including three-legged and sack races, an egg and spoon (and dog) race, and frisbees.<\/p>\n

If you couldn’t make it to the Cricket Club this evening, you can see photos of the pusses and pooches who’re looking for a “fur-ever” home on the RSPCA website<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
