July 4, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Race Club will be holding its Winter Race Meeting at the Wondai Racecourse on Saturday (July 6).<\/p>\n

As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races and an undercover betting ring.<\/p>\n

The Race Club’s canteen will be operating, along with an outdoor barbecue and the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.<\/p>\n

The meeting’s fashion theme is “Winter Brights” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be prizes for the best-dressed lady, gentleman, boy and girl.<\/p>\n

Entry fees to the course are $10 per head.<\/p>\n

Optional trackside marquee seating is also available for an extra $5 per head, and grazing platters are available for $25 each, but they need to be booked by Friday, July 5.<\/p>\n

You can reserve marquee seats and\/or grazing platters by phoning Chris on 0499-873-269.<\/p>\n

Gates will open at 11:00am and the first of the day’s five races will leave the barriers at 1:45pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Winter meeting is being sponsored by the Duff family and Wondai Electrical Services.<\/p>\n

There will be no buses to the track but there is plenty of free parking on site.<\/p>\n
