An 83-year-old woman has been taken to Murgon Hospital after her car rolled back on her in Lamb Street, Murgon, on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Murgon Police, Senior Sergeant Steve Stewart, said the woman apparently had got out of the vehicle to check behind it when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

The vehicle rolled back and she was struck by the door.<\/p>\n

She became trapped between the vehicle and the gutter.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said the incident occurred at 1:14pm.<\/p>\n

Paramedics assessed the woman at the scene and she was transported in a stable condition to Murgon Hospital with suspected leg injuries.<\/p>\n

    • A 14-year-old Cherbourg boy is being dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act after car keys and a vehicle were stolen from a\u00a0residence in Stephens Street, Murgon.\u00a0 The vehicle was located in Cherbourg.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Investigations are continuing into a number of other unrelated incidents:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • June 14 – Between 10:00am and noon, a screen door was damaged at a home in Davidson Street, Murgon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Between 11:00pm on June 15 and 6:00am on June 17, would-be thieves tried to break into a business in Macalister Street, Murgon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • June 17 – About 5:38pm, a shoplifter stole an item from a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Between 6:00am on June 21 and 9:30am on June 22, thieves forced open a door at a house in Smyth Street, Murgon, and then stole a motorbike from the garage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • A 42-year-old Barlil man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 20 charged with drug-driving\u00a0 after police stopped a vehicle in Krebs Street, Murgon, about 1:40pm on June 14.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                • A 25-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 19 charged with drug-driving after police stopped a vehicle in Lamb Street, Murgon,\u00a0about 9:30am on June 15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Officers from Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai responded to a variety of incidents between June 14-21 including drug, traffic and property offences.
