It’s not often that you see crowds packing a car park on a chilly winter’s night in Kingaroy, but that was the case on Friday when Bunnings organised a family fun night as part of their opening celebrations.<\/p>\n

The store’s Timber Yard and adjacent area were turned into a big playground with a jumping castle, free face-painting and fairy floss, an animal nursery plus stalls by local community groups.<\/p>\n

A highlight of the night was the Paw Patrol show which proved popular with youngsters.<\/p>\n

The evening was topped off by a large fireworks display accompanied by gas flares which lit up the night.<\/p>\n

At the weekend, Bunnings repeated the festivities, with Sesame Street characters Elmo and Zoe on hand to entertain children on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The store’s opening fortnight of celebrations will continue this weekend, June 15-16.<\/p>\n
