Parents and prospective students took the opportunity on Saturday to take a look around the campus at St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

They were greeted at the school entrance by principal Angela Myles, other staff members and senior students who led them around the buildings in small groups.<\/p>\n

Younger children enjoyed the free face-painting, while parents could help themselves at the sausage sizzle, run by the P&F Association.<\/p>\n

In the E-learning area, programmable Spheros robots, which are used by primary school students as part of their STEM activities, were on display.<\/p>\n

Mrs Myles said the next Open Day at the school will be this Thursday (June 6) when the focus will be on Prep.<\/p>\n

Parents and would-be preppies have been invited to visit the Prep Open Morning from 9:00am to 10:30am to have a look around, play and see what the area is like.<\/p>\n
