Member for Maranoa David Littleproud has been given a new Cabinet role in the re-elected Morrison Federal Government.<\/p>\n

The former Agriculture Minister will now be responsible for Water Resources, Drought, Rural Finance, Natural Disaster and Emergency Management.<\/p>\n

Mr Littleproud was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016 with a 17 per cent margin and gained a 6.5 per cent swing in the recent Federal poll.<\/p>\n

Victorian Senator Bridget McKenzie\u00a0 – whose former Ministry roles included Sport, Rural Health, Regional Communications, and Regional Services – has taken over the Agriculture portfolio.<\/p>\n

West Australian MP Ken Wyatt has been appointed Minister for Indigenous Australians, replacing Nigel Scullion who did not re-contest his seat.<\/p>\n
