A group of young children who broke into the\u00a0Boys Dormitory at The Ration Shed historical complex on Saturday afternoon have apologised for their actions.<\/p>\n

The children entered the building, which is undergoing extensive renovations, via a boarded up window.<\/p>\n

Chairperson Aunty Sandra Morgan said three fire extinguishers were emptied in the Elders Room.<\/p>\n

A garden bed was also damaged.<\/p>\n

She said it was a sad end to a great day which had included a visit to The Ration Shed by a delegation which included Supreme Court judges and magistrates.<\/p>\n

Some of the children involved in the incident were later brought down to The Ration Shed by a family member to apologise.<\/p>\n

Traffic was briefly disrupted on Sunday afternoon when two vehicles collided on the D’Aguilar Highway at South Nanango.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to the incident at 2:48pm, about five kilometres south of Nanango.<\/p>\n

Police and ambulance crews briefly attended.<\/p>\n
