A national joint operation targeting the Rebels outlaw motorcycle club has resulted in the arrest of six people on 14 charges in Queensland.<\/p>\n

Led by Taskforce Morpheus, police from across Australia and New Zealand joined forces on Wednesday for the operation.<\/p>\n

Activities included the execution of co-ordinated search warrants.<\/p>\n

So far, six people have been charged with 14 offences, 59 intelligence submissions were made and three tasers and 240g of cannabis seized.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Three patched members also began the process of formally disassociating from the club.<\/p>\n

National Taskforce Morpheus was formed in September 2014 to build on the success of National Task Force Attero.<\/p>\n

Attero targeted the Rebels and resulted in 4149 members, nominees or associates arrested or reported and 5756 charges laid between June 2012 and December 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
