Glenda Harch<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

April 30, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

A funeral will be held in Gympie on Friday (May 3) for well-known Goomeri resident Glenda Harch who died last week.<\/p>\n

Mrs Harch, 66, was involved with the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival since it began in 1997.<\/p>\n

For many years Glenda was the official co-ordinator and was always a familiar sight on Festival day in the office.<\/p>\n

Generations of local students were also taught by Mrs Harch at Goomeri P-10 State School, where she spent 13 years as principal.<\/p>\n

Glenda died peacefully on April 24 at Little Haven Palliative Care in Gympie.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her husband Darryl, three children and seven grandchildren.<\/p>\n

The funeral will be held at the Cooloola Coast Crematorium Chapel, 236 Brisbane Road, Gympie on Friday at 10:30am.<\/p>\n
