Richard Mason is dismayed that after making another large investment in his Kingaroy Car and Dog Wash business, thieves have struck again<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Police are investigating the theft of a cash teller machine from the Kingaroy Car and Dog Wash in Rogers Drive in the early hours of Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

CCTV captured the two thieves wrapping a chain around the machine, which was bolted into concrete, at 2:56am.<\/p>\n

Then – after several failed attempts – they drove off with the machine dragging behind them.<\/p>\n

The pair, wearing masks and hoodies, were driving a dual-cab Toyota HiLux with a metal tray.<\/p>\n

One was wearing work pants with fluoro strips on the legs.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Car and Dog Wash owner Richard Mason told southburnett.com.au<\/strong> he believed the number plates on the vehicle were stolen.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said police were following up several leads.<\/p>\n

This is the third time in two years that the business has been targeted.<\/p>\n

Mr Mason said he had just spent $250,000 upgrading one of the wash bays at the facility in time for Easter.<\/p>\n

“It’s new equipment, the best in the world,” he said.<\/p>\n

“And now this happens.”<\/p>\n
