New owners took over Kingaroy Machinery Centre five years ago … but now the business also has a new name plus a new location!<\/p>\n

Tranzmile owners Courtney and Cameron Black bought KMC, which had been servicing the South Burnett since 1945, in April 2014.<\/p>\n

They immediately expanded the range of parts available at the Kingaroy Street business.<\/p>\n

This expansion also made the couple start to think about new premises.<\/p>\n

Their bright new store at Kingaroy’s Bunya Highway Industrial Estate – painted in orange and black – was officially opened by Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

The open day also featured trade stalls, a jumping castle for the kids plus displays of historic trucks and cars.<\/p>\n

Courtney told southburnett.com.au the move was a good opportunity to rebrand KMC to match the rest of their group.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Black family’s Tranzmile group consists of 14 stores across Queensland and NSW, including four franchisees.<\/p>\n

However, the Kingaroy store is the second biggest outlet, next to Brisbane.<\/p>\n

Courtney said she believed the South Burnett area had been under-serviced when it came to this sort of business, and it was a huge opportunity for the company.<\/p>\n

Tranzmile stocks truck, trailer and 4WD spare parts and accessories in an open Bunnings-style warehouse where purchasers can browse what is available.<\/p>\n

Their Kingaroy store is currently looking for staff, including a spare parts interpreter and people with experience in truck, 4WD and trailer parts.<\/p>\n

Tranzmile is the aftermarket truck and trailer parts arm of the Black Truck & Ag company which sells and services Isuzu, Iveco and Western Star trucks and Isuzu utes; and New Holland and AGCO tractors and harvesters in Toowoomba, Moree, Goondiwindi, Dalby and Roma.<\/p>\n
