2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eleven South Burnett community groups will share $251,106 grants from the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Successful Round 99 grant recipients were announced on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The successful applicants are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blackbutt Art Gallery &#8211; $5845 to hold an event and purchase equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kingaroy and District Tennis Association &#8211; $11,452 to install a water tank and purchase equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kingaroy Swimming Club &#8211; $35,000 for equipment and marquees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kumbia Tennis Association &#8211; $35,000 to resurface tennis courts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Murgon Local Ambulance Committee &#8211; $34,532 to purchase an electronic manikin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Murgon Rotary Club &#8211; $29,062 to install fans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proston &amp; District Heritage Association &#8211; $11,650 for office equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>South Burnett Community Orchestra Association &#8211; $24,883 for music workshops and community concert<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>South Burnett Saints AFL Club &#8211; $26,847 for mobile goal posts and netting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wondai Regional Art Gallery &#8211; $26,000 for kitchen upgrade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Yarraman Amateur Swimming Club &#8211; $10,835 for timing and PA systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * * <\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_118980\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Attorney-General Yvette D&#8217;Ath<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Attorney-General Yvette D\u2019Ath said 643 not-for-profit groups across Queensland shared in more than $13,700,000 of grants in Round 99.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis funding enables community groups to deliver community projects that might otherwise be out of reach without the assistance of the government\u2019s Gambling Community Benefit Fund,&#8221; Mrs D&#8217;Ath said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a $13.7 million acknowledgement of the vital role of these organisations play in Queensland communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mrs D&#8217;Ath said Round 101 of the GCBF was now open.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether you\u2019ve applied before or are applying for the first time, we encourage not-for-profit community groups from all sectors to apply for a grant, with funding between $500 and $35,000 on offer,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese grants could significantly contribute to the success of an eligible start-up, social enterprise, or a more established community organisation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The GCBF, which is part of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation, is Queensland\u2019s largest one-off grants program, distributing approximately $55 million annually to communities statewide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Round 101 closes on May 31.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More information is available <a
