A teenage boy has suffered traumatic arm injuries after his arm was caught in farm machinery on a property west of Kilcoy on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the scene at 7:45pm.<\/p>\n

It’s believed the boy was using a cattle feeder on his family property when his right arm became caught in the machine.<\/p>\n

Ambulance paramedics treated the boy at the scene for severe trauma to his right hand.<\/p>\n

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter met the ambulance at a nearby town where the aeromedical team stabilised him for flight and airlifted him to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.<\/p>\n
