A mini show-and-shine was held outside the Grand Hotel in Wooroolin on Saturday as a fundraiser for the Endeavour Foundation and to raise awareness about this year’s Great Endeavour Rally.<\/p>\n

The Endeavour Day attracted eight rally cars – from as far away as Brisbane – as well as 12 motorbikes from a local club.<\/p>\n

Prizes were distributed to the top three entrants in each class.<\/p>\n

Endeavour Rally stalwart Les Porter, from Kingaroy, had his famous “Flying Peanut” parked in prime position.<\/p>\n

Les has taken part in 20 rallies and has been an avid fundraiser for the Endeavour Foundation.<\/p>\n

In conjunction with the Grand Hotel, a “Jag The Joker” competition is being run as a fundraiser for Endeavour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patrons can buy tickets in a raffle and the winner gets to draw a card.<\/p>\n

If it’s the joker, they will win $1000 but if not, another raffle will be held and the prize will jackpot by $50 a week until someone draws the lucky card.<\/p>\n

The 2019 Great Endeavour Rally will begin in Bundaberg on July 26 and will reach Townsville on August 3 after travelling via the Gulf of Carpentaria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
