The annual reunion of past and present Nanango residents will be held in the grounds of Ringsfield House on Saturday, March 16.<\/p>\n

The reunion provides an opportunity for past and present residents to renew old acquaintances.<\/p>\n

It was formerly held at New Farm Park in Brisbane for more than a decade, but relocated to Ringsfield in 2017.<\/p>\n

As usual, the reunion will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm in Ringsfield’s grounds.<\/p>\n

There will be a canteen operating on the day and the Ringsfield Caf\u00e9 will be open.<\/p>\n

If possible, guests should bring a chair because seating is limited.<\/p>\n

This year, reunion organisers have asked Nanango historian Liz Caffery to give a talk about her most recent book, ‘The Memory Tree’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The book was launched at last year’s Armistice Centenary commemorations and documents the memories of 140 Nanango servicemen and women who fought in World War I.<\/p>\n

Tragically, 20 per cent of the soldiers who served from the Nanango district perished in the \u201cwar to end all wars\u201d.<\/p>\n
