A startling array of odd-looking vehicles rolled into Kingaroy on Saturday morning but it was nothing to get alarmed about.<\/p>\n

It was just the good folk from the Endeavour Rally making an excuse to have fun and raise money for a good cause.<\/p>\n

The one-day adventure began early on Saturday morning at Jondaryan Woolshed.<\/p>\n

It then wound its way by the most non-obvious routes – and a few challenges along the way – to Kingaroy where the drivers stopped at the Endeavour Kitchen to enjoy lunch.<\/p>\n

Participants had the choice of two routes: a journey through rough and rocky terrain on the rally course or a scenic cruise on the blacktop.<\/p>\n

After lunch they turned their vehicles around and headed back through the dust and dirt to Jondaryan.<\/p>\n

The one-day rally is a taste test for the main Great Endeavour Rally which begins on July 26 in Bundaberg and finishes in Townsville on August 3, travelling via the Gulf.<\/p>\n
