Slovenia is the 2019 focus country for World Day of Prayer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

February 19, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Day of Prayer – an interdenominational Christian celebration – will be celebrated in the South Burnett on Friday, March 1.<\/p>\n

The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement started by women and is celebrated annually in more than 170 countries on the first Friday in March.<\/p>\n

In the South Burnett, the host venue for each town’s celebration rotates annually between different church denominations.<\/p>\n

Every year, the worship service focuses on a different country and a specific theme.<\/p>\n

In 2019, the ecumenical service has been prepared by the Christian women of Slovenia.<\/p>\n

This year’s theme is “Come – Everything Is Ready”.<\/p>\n

          • Murgon<\/strong> – 9:30am on March 2 at the Baptist Church, cnr Macalister and Stephens Street East<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Nanango<\/strong> – 10:00am at the Nanango Community Baptist Church, Mt Stanley Road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
