{"id":227488,"date":"2019-02-01T14:07:15","date_gmt":"2019-02-01T04:07:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=227488"},"modified":"2020-09-22T10:57:32","modified_gmt":"2020-09-22T00:57:32","slug":"third-person-bitten-by-snake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2019\/02\/01\/third-person-bitten-by-snake\/","title":{"rendered":"Third Person Bitten By Snake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>February 1, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Queensland Ambulance paramedics have helped the third South Burnett resident to be bitten by a snake in less than a week.<\/p>\n<p>The patient was taken by ambulance from Boondooma to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition on Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The snakebite was reported to have occurred at a private residence at 9:21am.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Related article: <a href=\"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2019\/01\/31\/man-bitten-by-snake\/\">Man Bitten By Snake<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>* * *<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>People who suspect they may have been bitten by a snake should look out for signs such as pain, nausea, numbness, tingling around the mouth and dizziness.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some tips from RACQ LifeFlight:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Move away from the snake and make sure the area is safe<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Stay as calm as possible and limit body movements to prevent the venom spreading<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3.
