Another section (Cherry Junction to Bottle Tree Lookout) is expected to re-open again within the next few weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Part of the Scenic Circuit Track from the entrance at Dandabah to Pine Gorge, via Festoon Falls, was closed late last year due to a rock fall and damaged boardwalk. Designs, planning and contracts are progressing, and remedial work is expected to begin in the next few months. The entire 4km track is also expected to receive an upgrade after Easter, and a section may close during this period to allow works to be carried out<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bunya Bunya Track &#8211; this track remains closed at present; a reopening date has yet to be advised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the time these tracks are being worked on, walkers are asked to observe all signs, barriers and directions provided by rangers and construction workers.<\/p>\n<p>All other walking tracks will remain open as usual.<\/p>\n<p>In total, almost 30km of the 35km Bunya Mountains walking track network is available for use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[UPDATED]<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The popular Dandabah camping ground in the Bunya Mountains National Park will be closed for the next two months so that camping facilities can be upgraded<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":198250,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3,10],"tags":[81,1130],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
