The Red Ant Round-Up – a rural medical conference organised every two years – will be returning to Kingaroy in March.<\/p>\n

The event usually attracts more than a hundred medical specialists and allied health professionals to town.<\/p>\n

It was last held in Kingaroy in 2017 and on that occasion 140 delegates\u00a0gathered at the Kingaroy Town Hall on the Saturday night for the conference dinner.<\/p>\n

This year’s event will open at 9:00am on March 9 at the TAFE campus in Geritz Road and finish at 5:00pm on March 10.<\/p>\n

Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network (PHN) is hosting the conference in partnership with General Practice Training Queensland (GPTQ) and the Kingaroy GP Chapter Network.<\/p>\n

The theme will be “A Country Practice – Everybody\u2019s Business”.<\/p>\n

The event is targeted at GPs, allied health professionals, hospital doctors, registrars, medical students, allied health students and service providers.<\/p>\n

The Conference Dinner will be held on the Saturday evening with guest speaker April Armstrong, the founder and director of Business for Doctors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
