Kingaroy police have charged a man following an incident in Railway Terrace on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Police will allege that about 12:50pm a man armed with a machete and an axe entered the front yard of a property on Railway Terrace.<\/p>\n

When challenged by the residents, he fled along Gladys Street.<\/p>\n

He was located by police in Kingaroy Street a short time later. <\/p>\n

An axe and machete were allegedly found nearby.<\/p>\n

A 32-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with going armed to cause fear, assault and trespass. <\/p>\n

He is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
